Habitat Management, a member of the RSK Group, is currently seeking a highly organised individual with great attention to detail and the ability to adapt to quick changes in a dynamic working environment to join their team as an Estimator to offer strategic and tactical leadership. This full time, permanent role will be based out of our Bristol office.

RSK Habitat Management is a UK-based organisation providing practical ecological and nature-based solutions to create a legacy for wildlife and stakeholders and achieve biodiversity net gain. From vegetation clearance to landscape-scale habitat creation, our in-house team of ecologists, reinforced by a fleet of specialist equipment, provides practical ecological contracting solutions in highly regulated sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the production of tender submissions using templates and company information to produce draft submissions, formatting documents according to a prescribed style, following up additional requests and proofreading before printing and distributing finalised tenders.
  • Assisting with the completion of pre-qualification documents.
  • Fully reviewing the works information.
  • Identifying any gaps in the information provided and liaising with the client
  • Prepare, price and issue accurate estimates for a variety of ecological contracting projects.
  • Complete and submit PQQ’s and tenders, including all supporting information.

Person Specification:

  • Ideally, educated to degree level with experience of tendering, preferably in an Ecology/Landscape related discipline.
  • Experience of working in a tiered procurement environment, for example, construction.
  • Familiarity with recognised forms of contract, for example those produced by JCT and NEC.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a large volume of information and documents.
  • CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence
